Coast to Coast Calibrations was formed in April 2024 through the merger of NBS Calibrations, Delta Calibration Services, and Process Measurement Company.. This merger brought together decades of technical expertise and a shared commitment to quality, compliance, and customer service under one national organization headquartered in Blaine.
The foundation of the company dates back to 1971, when it was originally established as Northern Balance in Minnesota. Over time, the business expanded to include scale services and became Northern Balance and Scale, later operating as NBS Calibrations. Throughout this evolution, the company earned a strong reputation for precision, reliability, and trust in regulated industries.
In 2000, the organization achieved A2LA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025, reflecting a long-standing commitment to technical competence, traceability, and audit-ready calibration services. That commitment continues today as a core part of how Coast to Coast Calibrations operates.
The 2024 merger also united an expanded ownership group, including Jacob Christianson, Andrew Rodriguez, Dustin Hirth, and Meng Yang. Together, the ownership team brings deep experience across metrology, quality systems, operations, and customer service, providing strong leadership while maintaining a hands-on, customer-focused approach.
Today, Coast to Coast Calibrations delivers A2LA-accredited, ISO/IEC 17025-compliant calibration services nationwide across multiple regions. While the company has grown in size and reach, its values remain unchanged: clear communication, dependable service, and doing the work right.
